CopyCompile is a clipboard manager designed to make the note-taking process easier. CopyCompile can store and manage multiple clips of information, such as text files, image files, and more. The goal of CopyCompile is to make gathering data and compiling notes faster and more efficient. CopyCompile allows users to conveniently compile information, whether it's by copy and pasting, capturing screenshots, or by taking your own notes with the note pad feature. All of the data is stored into the CopyCompile clipboard, where it can be exported, pasted, or printed in a few simple clicks.

Alternative ways of taking notes are significantly more time consuming and result in a loss of focus. If you are in the midst of reading a book or article, tabbing back and forth and taking your eyes of the page to multi-task will result in a productivity loss of up to 40% when trying to read and take notes.

Individuals can choose to use the standard windows clipboard, which can only hold 1 piece of data at a time. They may choose to split-screen between a note taking application and their information. They may choose to tab back and forth between a note taking application and their information. CopyCompile originated on a late weekend evening when Chris was reading an e-book PDF on marketing. This was the 3rd e-book he had read on marketing, and there was a lot of useful information in the 300+ pages of reading. However, the important points were mixed in the content, and he found that highlighting and going back to take notes on the highlights later was much quicker than trying to multi-task and tab back and forth between note-taking software and the PDF book. However, highlighting and writing down notes later took a significant toll on his time. He found that he was reading e-books two times over just to grab the useful information from the book, and from there, the idea of CopyCompile was born.
